Description

The purpose of this project was to recommission learning services in Buckinghamshire. Funding for each academic year is provided to Buckinghamshire Council on a yearly basis from the ESFA, the majority of these learning services are directly delivered by Buckinghamshire Adult Learning. However, in order to fully use its Apprenticeship and Adult Education Budget allocation and ensure it addresses the key priorities of both the Council and the Education Skills Funding Agency, it sub-contracts part of this annual delivery which enables it to deliver to specific targeted cohorts and geographical areas. This stage of the procurement process enabled only approved providers to enter the mini competition for selection to receive funding from the Council.
