Description

The Production Services Framework will support the operational, event management and production delivery of a world-class Cultural Festival in 2022. At their core, Production Services support the Cultural Festival creative leads to stage, event management, produce and deliver the new pieces of artistic work, performances, installations, exhibitions and/or other events commissioned.

Lot Division

1 Production Services for events or cultural activity at a value of £150,000, or less

Lot 1: Production Services for events or cultural activity at a value of £150,000, or less •Small to medium scale events which could include press launches, meetings, production of key elements of the cultural programme e.g., welcome ceremonies. •Event that are budgeted up to £150,000 (per event). Additional information: The Contracting Authority is seeking to appoint up to three (3) Suppliers to each Lot based on the highest scoring Tenderers in each Lot. Call-Off Work Orders will be awarded via either Direct Award or Mini-Competition.
2 Production Services for events or cultural activity at a value of £150,001 to £999,999

Lot 2: Production Services for events or cultural activity at a value of £150,001 to £999,999 •Medium to large scale events which could include major milestone events e.g., a major launch at a high profile UK venue, involvement with Festival UK 2022, full production management of Cultural programme elements e.g. welcome ceremonies. •Events that are budgeted in excess of £150,001 but not expected to exceed £999,999 (per event). Additional information: The Contracting Authority is seeking to appoint up to three (3) Suppliers to each Lot based on the highest scoring Tenderers in each Lot. Call-Off Work Orders will be awarded via either Direct Award or Mini-Competition.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** There may be additional requirements from other Divisions of the OC and Festival UK* 2022 (as appropriate), such as Village Management who may have requirements at the Athletes Villages. In addition there may be requirements from Festival 2022 Ltd (the Festival Company) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games (the OC). The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. All communications shall be in English. Any contract or agreement resulting from any invitation to tender will be considered as a contract made in England according to English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The contracting authority does not bind itself to accept any tender and reserves the right to accept any part of the tender unless the tenderer expressly stipulates to the contrary. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 imposes a statutory obligation on public bodies to make information they are holding available on request. Tenderers should be aware of the contracting authorities obligations under the Act, whereby information provided by tenderers in response to this advertisement may be requested by a third party. The contracting authority expressly reserves the right: (i) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the procurement process; (ii) to require further information or clarification from a tenderer before considering its response; (iii) to exclude a tenderer from the procurement process if it is subsequently determined that any information supplied was inaccurate, incomplete or untrue and was relied upon for selection purposes; (iv) to cancel this procurement (including individual Lots) at any stage; and (v) not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice.
