As part of the services offered Anchor Hanover stores and processes a large amount of personal and confidential information related to our residents and customers and this includes medical sensitive information. This information is stored in a variety of systems that are either hosted directly by us or by our partners. The Role of Security within Anchor Hanover The responsibility for information security lies within the IT Operations function at Anchor Hanover and are responsible for the following ? Defining an overall security strategy and implementing it ? Defining security policies and ensuring they are applied ? Assessment of proposed new systems and services to ensure they comply with IT security standards ? Monitoring the IT estate to identify activities or patterns that could indicate a security or data breach and respond to them ?
