Description

We are looking for suppliers who can provide the property as well as the support for vulnerable women with complex needs within 6 to 9 months. It is desirable to have one supplier for both property and service. The service comprises of the following: - accommodation-based site with 27 bed spaces (24 young women and 3 mothers and baby) in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea area. The service will provide a 24/7 sleep-in service.

Other Information

This service is a preventative homeless service, it is for vulnerable women with complex needs aged between 16 and 30 with housing and support needs. The service is for the provision of safe, accommodation-based housing support services for young women who are deemed to be socially excluded this includes: - women with complex needs, - women with substance misuse needs, - women with multiple needs, including mental health needs, - women with challenging behaviour(s); and mothers (with support needs) and baby. It will provide housing related support services with the purpose of developing or sustaining an individual's capacity to maintain their accommodation and live independently in the community. These women may be leaving institutional care such as hospital or prison, be street homeless, threatened with homelessness or living in accommodation that is not meeting their identified needs. The service will also be used as a 'step up' or 'step down' from other supported accommodation, where appropriate. Candidates should be able demonstrate your organisation's past experience and/or existing arrangements by giving examples of providing high-quality support for vulnerable women/mother and baby. Candidates will also be required to provide an explanation of their organisation's capability and/or past experience of providing housing management in a supported housing or similar environment.
