Description

As part of Essex County Council's work, with regards to implementing our duties under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, we have completed a needs assessment to identify the needs of victims of domestic abuse who reside within safe accommodation. Psychological and emotional wellbeing needs were present in nearly half of all victims. We want to ensure all DA victims have access to the right emotional wellbeing support at the right time in their journey. We are currently in the early stages of shaping our response to this issue and are seeking a wide range of view-points. We are therefore holding two stakeholder engagement events on 22/09/2021. One face-to-face session will be held in the morning at a location TBD in Chelmsford. The other will be held virtually in the afternoon.
