Description
London borough of Hackney has a legal obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to ensure the safety of their employee - Regulation 4 of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at Work Regulation 1992 makes it clear that employers must provide suitable PPE for employers exposed to Health and Safety risks. Having staff in corporate uniform they are easily identifiable and gives confidence to the member of public and stakeholders. London Borough of Hackney (The Council) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers from the provision of Corporate Uniform Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with the specification. The contract will run for 3 years with the option for two periods a further 12 months and a further 12 months.
