Description

The Uwch Conwy Project, through the Tir Afon funding are looking to improve the condition of blanket bog at a number locations in the Uwch Conwy Catchment. This first phase of works will involve the removal of conifers and other species at seven remote upland location between the Autumn 2021 and January 2022. Removal of the conifers will depend on their size and will be by hand pulling or felling by saw or chainsaw as appropriate. Where Rhododendron ponticum are to be removed the immediate application of the relevant chemicals to the stump is also required.
