Description

Provision of a Proactive HPV Bio-Decontamination Service to include a Service Engineer(s)permanently based on Hospital premises, together with all equipment and consumables necessary to provide the Service.

Total Quantity or Scope

Provision of a Proactive HPV Bio-Decontamination Service for ABMU Hospital premises. Integral to the Service is the provision of a trained bio-engineer(s) to be permanently based on-site and the supply of all equipment and consumables necessary to run the Service. The Service is required to address outbreaks of micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, commonly known as C.Diff, MRSA & TB etc.

Legal Justification

The Service Provider (Bioquell) are the only supplier in the market to be able to provide the level of bio-decontamination required with 35% w/w hydrogen peroxide of suitable grade and deploy in the Health Care environment.

Other Information

Primary contract term will be 12 months, with the option to extend for two further periods of 12 months at the HB's discretion. (WA Ref:85750)
