Description
NHS Lothian Estates Department (HardFM) is responsible for the 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across approximately 208 properties to acute and community services. The department is also involved in minor construction projects, replacement programmes, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards. At times of high demand upon the services there may be a need to supplement the existing NHSL workforce with electrical contractors.
Total Quantity or Scope
Electrical Engineering Term Contract work for smaller single trade projects with a value less than GBP50K to supplement the existing NHSL Estates workforce in minor construction projects, replacement programmers, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards and departments within existing premises. Some of the services will be required to be carried out on a 24/7 basis. -Works with a value between 0 and GBK10k will be allocated to the first ranked supplier for that area. -Works with a value between values of GBP10k - GBP50k will be put out to a competitive quote via Quick Quotes on Public Contract Scotland portal to all framework suppliers. Work will then be allocated on the basis of the best value quote.
