Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and The Highland Council are collaborating together to tender their requirements for collection, storage and redelivery of household belongings. Suppliers are invited to tender for 1, 2 or all 3 Council organisations. This tender is therefore being advertised on behalf of, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and The Highland Council.

1 | Aberdeen City Council
Aberdeen City Council is legally obliged to provide assistance with the removal, transfer and storage of household belongings for people experiencing homelessness. There are a significant number of customers who require this service, sometimes for an unspecified amount of time. Under this framework agreement the Contractor shall provide short and long-term storage solutions. Aberdeen City Council require a single Contractor to uplift belongings within a property; all furniture items, white goods, fixture/fittings and any other household item (this list is not exhaustive) and deliver to/from properties, with capacity to conduct requests where specified within 48 hours of request. Additional information: This requirement is being tendered along with the same requirements for Aberdeenshire and the Highland Council. Suppliers are able to tender for all 3 if they have the resource to do so. |
2 | Aberdeenshire Council – North (Banff & Buchan and Buchan)
Aberdeenshire Council is legally obliged to provide assistance with the removal, transfer and storage of household belongings for people experiencing homelessness. There are a significant number of customers who require this service, sometimes for an unspecified amount of time. Under this framework agreement the Contractor shall provide short and long-term storage solutions.
