Description

This contract notice relates to the setting up of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which will be used by Dumfries and Galloway Council and its partners to procure Transport contracts to deliver a range of transport requirements the Dynamic Purchasing System including but not limited to Local Bus Services , School Transport Services, Taxi services, Additional Support Needs Transport Services, Social Care Transport and Transportation of School Meals .

Please note that the estimated value stated is over the 10 year contract duration and is for guidance and tendering purposes only and the Council does not guarantee any Contractor any value or volume of work to be issued through any of the lots. Under the DPS, mini-competitions will be evaluated to identify which of the eligible tenders deliver the best value to the contracting authorities. This will be based on quality and price criteria. This exact criteria will be varied for individual competitions under the DPS. Quality criteria will be linked to the subject matter of the contract and be based on the operational delivery of particular elements outlined in the specification. A request for documentation will be carried out during the evaluation of the SPD and we would request supplier have the following documents prepared to submit if requested to do : 1. Evidence of your company's insurance certification detailing the required level of insurance as per the levels stated within this contract notice, 2.Copy of your Operator Licence (where appropriate), 3. Copy of your Taxi Licence (where appropriate), 4. Copies of your Section 19 & 22 Permits (where appropriate), 5. Copies of Driver Qualification including CPC for all known drivers that will be party to this DPS, 6. PVG number and date allocated for all known drivers that will be party to this DPS, 7. Copies of Driving Licences for all known drivers that will be party to this DPS. 8.
