Description
The Re-ordering of Outbound Controls project is a mix of demolition, construction of new buildings and structures, paving/civils/groundworks and associated infrastructure works required as part of the re-ordering of the Port of Dover's existing outbound border controls and check-in facilities for traffic leaving the UK.
Total Quantity or Scope
These works include but are not limited to the following: • Demolition and services diversions, • Paving construction and below ground infrastructure, • New buildings, Solar PV and sheds, • New prefabricated kiosks and overhead canopies, • Existing building refurbishment, • New Port (highways) paving construction, • Associated highways infrastructure & street furniture, • New fencing, access-controlled turnstiles, gates & barriers, • High mast lighting, CCTV and variable message signage, • MEICA Installations.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** For the purposes of providing further detail around this procurement, it is the intention to hold an engagement event in the second half of October 2021. This is to provide prospective interested parties with more information on the Port of Dover in general together with anticipated scope and timeline for the programme of work. The procurement is anticipated to be formally launched in November 2021. Access to this engagement event will be via invitation to those parties who have registered their interest by sending an email to: PODProcurement@doverport.co.uk with the title: "OBC ENGAGEMENT EVENT REQUEST" to be received by 12:00hrs on the 18th October 2021.
