Description
The final date and time for the submission of bids is Monday 18th October 2021 at 11:00. DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal. Brief Description of Requirement In 2019, Government consulted on taking secondary legislation forward under the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act 2018. These powers allow Government to place requirements on chargepoints for electric vehicles, specifically to make them smart charging enabled and meet other technical requirements for cyber security, data privacy, interoperability and grid stability. Government has recently published a Government Response to this consultation, ahead of laying legislation in Autumn 2021. Guidance needs to be developed and published to give industry further clarity on how to meet the requirements in the regulations. The scope of this work is limited to producing a guidance document and templates for key assurance components related to the smart charging regulations due to be laid in Autumn this year. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Document Uploads tab within the Delta eSourcing Portal. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
