Mechanical installations in Council managed properties i.e boiler installations.

2 Electrical Services (including domestic and commercial re-wires)

Electrical installations in Council managed properties i.e electrical rewiring.

3 Roofing & Fascia's

The installation / repair of roofing to Council managed properties

4 Building and Joinery

Building Services for buildings managed by Stockton on Tees Council.

5 Flooring

Installation and laying of flooring to Council managed properties.

6 Windows

Window Installations to buildings managed by Stockton on Tees Council.

7 Fire Alarm & Specialist Equipment Installation

Installation of new fire alarm systems in Council managed buildings. This does not include the maintenance of the newly installed systems.

8 Footpath and Carriageway Works including Ducting Works

The reconstruction of Footpath and Carriageway which includes the removal and installation of road kerbs, edging kerbs, footpath and carriageway surface which could be tarmac, flags, concrete and block paving.

9 Drainage Works

The removal and installation of manholes, gullies, drainage leads including enhanced drainage systems with the use of aco drains and slot drains,

10 Street Lighting

The removal and installation of Street Lighting, including the erection of the street lighting column, lantern, internal apparatus, orange duct and termination of the column. Additional works involved in this section will be the installation and removal of illuminate traffic bollards and signs.

11 Play Area Works (MUGA) installation and removal of equipment

Installation of Play Areas and MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) to ROSPA specifications. installation of play equipment including foundation, installation of litter bins, seating areas, fencing, lighting and play area surfacing.

12 Street Furniture Works

Street furniture installations include repair works. These elements of works include signs and pole, guardrail, bollards, bins, benches and fences.

13 Landscaping and Earth Works

Landscaping and Earth work services at sites around Stockton on Tees.

14 Solar Panel Installations

Installation of Solar Panel technology including pre survey work to assess suitability of the structure through to completion and practical sign off.

15 Boiler Installations

Installation of energy efficient boilers to residential properties, either replacement or new installations. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

16 Low Carbon Heating Installations

Installation of low carbon heating systems including air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps and associated infrastructure. The scope also includes any potential new technologies that may come to market delivering low carbon measures. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

17 Cavity Wall installations

Cavity Wall insulation of buildings. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

18 External wall insulation

External Wall Insulations, Materials and technology to be determined upon call offs. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

19 Installation of Thermally Efficient Glazing

Installation of thermally efficient glazing, latest technology to be used and will be advised at call off stage. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

20 Loft insulation

Loft insulation in residential properties. The latest technology and materials are to be used and will be specified at call off stage. Works include the surveying to assess suitability through to practical completion sign off.

21 Residential Extensions

Residential building extensions for residents where a Disabled Facility Grant has been awarded enabling the homeowner more appropriate space / facilities in their own home. Also extensions to foster carers homes to provide additional living space fall within the scope of this Lot

22 Hard Standing / Driveways

The provision of parking areas and extending of existing parking areas to residential properties

23 Door Entry Systems

Provision of automated door entry systems and controls to residential properties to facilitate disabled access

The average project value that will be required is estimated at around £50,000. Highways and Street Lighting (Lots 8 - 13) estimated £250,000 annually. The average project value that will be required is estimated at around £5,000 - £10,000. Energy Measures (Lots 14 - 20) - £5m annually although is variable and dependent on funding acquired. DFG - (Lots 21 - 23) estimated £500,000 annually.
