Description

Farming Connect is a high profile, integrated project which supplies focused training, support and advice, delivered through a pan-Wales programme of knowledge transfer activities, specialist advice and support for innovation. A key objective is to increase the emphasis on business-focused behaviour, therefore, improving profitability, competitiveness and environmental performance of farm, forestry and food businesses in Wales. Farming Connect is funded through Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014 - 2022, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. To deliver one to one on farm clinics to Farming Connect registered businesses who express an interest across Wales. We are looking for specialists to deliver clinics on the following topics: - Soils - Manure - Water - Forage - Infrastructure Budget up of GBP200,000 to 31st March 2022. Budget 1st April onwards TBC, but not anticipated to exceed GBP200,000
