Description

Thames Water Utilities Limited wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for a range of Sewer Rehabilitation works and services for all gravity sewers and pressurised waste water pipes across the entire TW region. The framework has been split into five Lots of work to reflect the variations in volume and complexity of appropriate rehabilitation services for different waste water assets and operational situations. Applicants are invited to apply for the following Lots : Lot 1: Structural lining & patch repairs. Lot 2: Leak tight lining & associated manhole sealing. Lot 3: No / low dig asset replacement. Lot 4: Rising mains / Pressure mains. Lot 5: Complex sewer rehabilitation (including sewers crossing Railways). Companies may apply for one or more Lots. However those wishing to apply for Lot 2, MUST also apply for Lot 1. Preference may be given in evaluation to those companies who demonstrate that they are capable of supplying a greater part of the overall requirement. We have 109,000km of underground Sewer pipes across our waste water operating area, the majority of which have been in the ground for many years. Over time, the structure and lining of sewers or rising mains degrades, gets damaged and eroded away, leading to the need for repair or replacement. We wish to award this Lot to up to 5 suppliers that are capable of suppling all sewer rehabilitation activities covered within scope of this Lot throughout the duration of the contract. Activities: No dig rehabilitation of sewers by Cast in Place Pipe Lining or Patching with a structural or semi-structural liner or patch. Flow management and CCTV surveys will need to be utilised where required. Reinstatement of lateral connections, generally via robotic techniques. These lining techniques and trenchless technologies would include but not be limited to: Lining using cured-in-place-pipes; Lining using cured-in-place-pipes for patch repairs; Local Repairs to manholes.
