Description
The ServiceNow Case Management System (CMS) has been in-use by the National Contact Tracing Centre, all 14 NHSS Territorial Boards & Public Health Scotland since June 2020. The system was developed and implemented within a period of 4 weeks in-house building on the NSS’s existing ServiceNow platform. 1500 licences were originally procured under contract award notice NSSCOVID-19 -228, with additional licenses subsequently procured due to the to the increase in +ve cases in Scotland and therefore the increase in contact tracers deployed to support this.We are currently licensed for 3100. Following the true-up at annual contract renewal time, it is identified that 3810 licences would be required due to the increase in +ve cases in Scotland.
Total Quantity or Scope
This is a directly awarded contract between the Authority on behalf of NHS Scotland to meet the additional demands of the Scottish Health and Social Care sector during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This award has been approved for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority in line with Regulation 33(1)(b) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
