Description

In developing the Crisis Café provision, NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)is seeking to offer two contracts to an organisation, or organisations, that will ensure our population (age 16 plus) have an effective support option when they are in need of mental health support or having a mental health crisis. It is key that the opening times of the provision correspond with peak demand for mental health support in the city and that appropriate, timely and compassionate support is made available to for our population to de-escalate crisis situations and improve people’s wellbeing and life outcomes. The tender process will start in December 2021.

Total Quantity or Scope

In preparation we will be holding an open market engagement event to share more details about our plans, hear your views and answer any questions you may have. The meeting will take place on Monday 29th November 2021, between 11am and 12 noon. The meeting will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. In order to register your interest in this event, please go to www.nhssourcing.co.uk If you have not accessed the portal before you will need to register by clicking on "Register Here". Once you have logged into the website, click on the link "PQQ's Open to All Suppliers" in the Supplier Area box. This engagement event will be listed here. Click on the title and then on the green button "Express Interest". This enables you to download any attachments, and to send and receive messages with the NHS South Yorkshire Procurement Service. To register your interest, please send a message through the site, naming up to 2 delegates. We have provided two draft specifications (both due to be signed off prior to the tender process commencing) which covers the provision of the Crisis Café and Wellbeing Ambassadors. The contract will be for a term of two years with the opportunity to extend for two years subject to mutual agreement between the successful Bidder and the CCG. The maximum term of contract is consequently four years. The financial envelope for the provision will be included in the final specification. Finance for year one is £200,000 for the Crisis Café and £15,000 for the Wellbeing Ambassadors, details of potential funding for subsequent years will be confirmed at the event. The purpose of this PIN is to identify any organisations interested in providing this Service to engage with NHS Sheffield CCG. The CCG would like potential providers to express an interest by responding via the portal. The CCG are not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in this PIN or, for any future tendering activity. Please register your interest through the NHS Sourcing portal by the deadline of noon on the 26th November 2021 . The information you provide to NHS Sheffield CCG will be to assess interest in the market. Dependent upon the response to this PIN the authority will determine if this requirement will form the basis of a competitive procurement process. If a competitive procurement is to take place the authority will inform those organisations who have registered an interest as described above with more information. The information to be provided by NHS Sheffield CCG will include, but not be limited to the type of procurement process, the timescales, and the evaluation criteria for any future procurement process.
