Description

NHS South West London CCG is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable providers, to provide Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Services to patients within the borough of Wandsworth. Specifically, these services will involve low complexity, high volume physiotherapy to all body parts. The service model is likely to involve a digital first element, with a blended offer of virtual, group and face to face patient sessions. The service provider will work in close liaison with the local MSK Alliance and the Physiotherapy Service of St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Current thinking is that the contract may have an initial duration of 2 years, with potential to be extended for up to a further 2 years - up to 4 years overall being possible. The modelled contract value is circa £500k per year to meet the needs of Wandsworth's population, with 4 years potentially being worth up to £2m. Additionally, the CCG is considering reserving a right to expand the scope and value of the contract during its term, to facilitate access to this community based capacity, by local NHS Trusts, as may be assessed as required by the South West London integrated care system. This could have potential to double the overall potential contract life value, i.e. up to £4m.
