The Works are to form a Memorial Garden at the Kent Police College (KPC Site) in Maidstone, Kent. This generally is formed of a hardstanding area, and a concrete wall for dedication plaques and ceremonies (seen as the 'war memorial' on the plans). There is an element of design work required. See Specification for details. The values given in the notice are indicative only, based on the estimates provided by the Authority's professional advisers. The actual value may be lower or higher. Following the tender exercise, if the winning bid is unaffordable, the Authority may discuss with the successful bidder elements that can be substituted or removed to reduce cost.
