Description

This Framework Contract will provide the Employer with a mechanism to procure works and services for maintaining public roads (excluding trunk roads) and roads related structures within its area. These works and services include, but are not limited to: -Carriageway resurfacing; -Footway resurfacing; -Carriageway defect patching; -Footway defect patching; -Surface treatment; -Pre-patching; -Ironwork; -Minor drainage; -Kerbing; -Traffic Management; Repairs, maintenance and improvements to roads related structures; -Road Markings; and -Minor Traffic Improvements.

Lot Division

1 Carriageway Resurfacing

This Lot involves the resurfacing of sections of the Employer’s carriageway network.

2 Footway Resurfacing

This Lot involves the resurfacing of sections of the Employer’s footway, footpath and paved area network.

3 Environment Network Improvement

This Lot involves the environmental improvement of the Employer’s roads, footway, footpath and paved areas network.

4 Carriageway Defect Patching

This Lot involves patching of sections of the Employer’s carriageway network that are defective.

5 Surface Treatment

This Lot involves surface treating sections of the Employer’s carriageway. The works may also include, but not limited to, minor drainage, carriageway patching and kerbing works.

6 Pre-Patching in Advance of Surface Dressing

This Lot involves carrying out pre-patching services in advance of surface dressing for sections of the Employer’s carriageway network.

7 Works to Roads Related Structures

This Lot involves the repair, maintenance and improvements of roads related structures within the Employer’s boundary. Roads related structures include the road’s verge and any structure, whether permanent or temporary, over which, or tunnel through, the road passes.

8 Road Markings

This Lot involves providing road marking services on sections of the Employer’s carriageway network.

9 Minor Traffic Improvement Works

This Lot involves providing minor traffic improvement works within the Employer’s area.

Renewal Options

The Framework Contract may be extended on two (2) occasions for a period of up to twelve (12) months on each occasion.

Tenderers are required to submit S3 Tender Compliance Certificate and S7 Declaration as part of their tender submission. Form S3 can be found in the General Attachments area of the Master ITT within PCS-T. Form S7 can be found within the Commercial Envelope of each Lot. There is a Form S7 for each Lot. Tenderers must complete and return Form S7 for each Lot they are applying for. The Council will request the following documentation once all bids have been received: 1.
