Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is 12th January 2022 at 11:00. DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal. Brief Description of Requirement Introduction The Industrial Energy Directorate (IE) sits at the heart of the Government's commitment to delivering net zero emissions across the UK economy by 2050. The Directorate will contribute to this goal by incentivising and supporting industry to reduce their emissions and invest in innovative, clean technology. Our projects will transform industrial energy use and help businesses to seize the opportunities of clean growth in the global economy. The Industrial Energy Delivery Team is working to improve the availability and quality of data within IE. This is essential for the development of evidence-based policies, and to ensure that we can monitor and evaluate their success. We have identified a list of priority, cross-cutting data gaps which are of strategic importance to IE policy. BEIS is looking for specialist external resource to undertake a 3-month research project to address one of our priority data gaps - site-level emissions of smaller industrial sites. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Document Uploads tab within the Delta eSourcing Portal.
