Description

Derbyshire County Council are inviting interested parties to tender for the supply and distribution of workwear in order for the Council to establish a contract with an experienced company who can supply high performance, high quality products. The contract will be available to all departments of the Council. The contract award will be split into 4 different lots with an award to 1 successful supplier per Lot. The Lots are as follows: - Lot 1: Construction and Outdoor Workwear - Lot 2: Catering and Personal Care Uniforms - Lot 3: Corporate Office Wear - Lot 4: Countryside Workwear

Lot Division

1 Provision of Workwear - Lot 1 - Construction and Outdoor Workwear

Building, maintenance and skilled construction jobs across the Council and will also service the requirements of ‘outdoor’ working.
2 Provision of Workwear - Lot 2 - Catering and Personal Care Uniforms

Workwear that is required could be used in Homes for Older People and Educational Establishments - Catering Sections.
3 Provision of Workwear - Lot 3 Corporate Office Wear

Office and Security workwear
4 Provision of Workwear - Lot 4 - Countryside Workwear

Renewal Options

The contract period shall be for an initial 2 year period with an option to extend up to a further 2 x 1 years commencing on 1 May 2022 or such other date as may be agreed. The Council will take up the option of 2 x 1 year extensions subject to satisfactory performance.
