Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust ("KMPT" or "The Trust") requires the provision of FTSUG Services. This is a 24/7/365 service provision, undertaking the roles and responsibilities of FTSUG Services as required by the Trust.

Total Quantity or Scope

The provision of FTSUG Services to KMPT NHS Trust. The Service is proposed to be entered into for a period of four years and will fulfil the Trust's statutory obligation to provide for a guardian service. It will: 1. Help staff speak up 2. Support managers to identify resolutions and to protect them from unwarranted claims 3. Protect the institutional integrity of the Trust 4. Ensure continuous communication and briefing of staff as to the availability of the service 24/7/365

Legal Justification

It is the Trust's consideration that this is the sole provider of these Services within the United Kingdom. The Trust is issuing this VEAT Notice to inform the market of its intention to enter into a Service Contract with 'The Guardian Service' for the provision of these Services.
