Description

NI-CO is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to establish a framework for the provision of business advisory, training and development support services to businesses across the TCc. This framework is open for organisations and individuals to apply.

Lot Division

1 Business and Financial;
  • Value: €167K

Sub-Lot 1.1: Strategic Planning To determine the client business strategic position and prioritise their objectives and future direction. To support the development of a 3-5-year Strategic Plan by working the Directors/key staff to then manage and review the plan to meet business development needs. Encourage businesses to address issues such as; women in business; gender gaps; youth/young people; civic engagement. Sub-Lot 1.2: Business Planning Building on the Strategic Plan, develop projections and forecasts for different growth patterns that will be part of the annual Business Planning process. The plan will consider the risk factors and the Business’s capacity to deliver and progress towards sustainability. Sub-Lot 1.3: Accounting and Financial Reporting Internal and integrated accounting systems for financial reporting using existing packages or bespoke solutions if required by the Business. Financial Management advice e.g. financial planning, internal audit etc. Sub-Lot 1.4: Business plan for Start ups Including the raising of finance through investment or a business loan, budgeting and cash-flow statement. Sub-Lot 1.5: Advisory Services/ Training and Mentoring One-to-One and/or group advice over the full range of business services and in particular, innovation, entrepreneurship, Start-Ups and growth businesses.

Sub-Lot 2.1: Digital Marketing, e-commerce & social trends Maximising awareness/ exposure of product/ brand/ service and trading. Communication - PR and Visibility; Media / Video Production. Sub-Lot 2.2: Exporting Focus on growth - growing turnover, increasing income to create jobs. The opportunities for exporting within an environment of isolation in addition to developing the home market. Sub-Lot 2.3: Green line regulation Examine the opportunities within the green line regulation from a legal and marketing aspect as applicable to Business’s product or service. Sub-Lot 2.4: Selling / Sales Development Improve sales through Market Research and Market Planning. Sub-Lot 2.5: Clustering Provide pathways for small producers/similar businesses to access the wider market and avail of the economies of scale.

3 Digital
  • Value: €167K

Sub-Lot 3.1: Connectivity Solutions and interventions that will allow the Business to Digitally connect internally and externally across all aspects of the business. Sub-Lot 3.2: New Technologies IT; Adapting to new technologies; Automation and Digitalisation; Smart systems ICT i.e. Website Development; MIS development. Sub-Lot 3.3: Data Management / Collection of Data / Data Mining Selection of appropriate package and modification of same to suit the needs of the Business/ Organisation. Provision of advice to local bodies / local communities to support internal data management requirements to enable appropriate policy development.

4 Green Technology

Sub-Lot 4.1: Renewables / Efficiency Measures Consideration of re-cycling and waste management, waste to energy, harnessing of solar energy and waste water treatment. Sustainable systems e.g. energy audit. Sub-Lot 4.2: Reduction in Carbon footprint / Sustainability Vehicle changes to electric, reduction in industrial emissions

5 ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Sub-Lot 5.1: Structural Development Focus on Business: organisational structure for efficient practices; leadership and work processes. 6 ORGANISATION EFFICIENY AND IMPROVEMENT

Sub-Lot 6.1: Quality Standards / Accreditation Quality improvements leading to securing certification and/or standardisation marks under the umbrella of the Organisation for International Standardisation [ISO] as appropriate to the business. Sub-Lot 6.2: Operations Organisation efficiency review across the business to reduce costs without any loss of quality including but not restricted to risk management and/or risk assessment. Technical Products – Prototyping. Procurement and contract management. Sub-Lot 6.3: Engineering solutions Adaption to both product development and product processes in an efficient manner to meet existing and potential demand.
