Description

The Council are looking to appoint, through this Tender process, a single Supplier to provide catering services in primary schools. For clarity this opportunity does not cover secondary school catering services. Currently, 155 schools, made up from a combination of Primary Maintained Schools, Special Schools and Primary Academies, have committed to participate in the Agreement .

Total Quantity or Scope

This Agreement will be made available for use by primary schools in the municipality serviced by Durham County Council; Darlington Borough Council; Hartlepool Borough Council; Middlesbrough Council; Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and Sunderland City Council. Renewal Options

The expected start date for the proposed Agreement is 1st August 2022. The expected end date for the proposed Agreement is 31st July 2025 . The proposed Agreement is to be let with an option to extend for a further 2 x 36 months from the actual end date. Making to the maximum potential length of the Agreement 9 years.
