Description

Scottish Enterprise (SE) has a requirement to tender for a suite of databases. The tender will consist of 12 Lots. The contracts for the provision of these databases are for a period of four years and will commence from 6 April 2022. The databases must be an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution, hosted remotely and accessible to end users (Scottish Enterprise staff) via a website. The databases will form part of a portfolio of research databases which will be used by Scottish Enterprise staff to develop and deliver services and to support Scottish businesses.

1 UK Company Credit Information
  • Value: £40K

Scottish Enterprise (SE) requires a UK Company Credit Information database. SE requires full, direct access to the company credit information database. SE has the requirement to provide its internal & external customers with credit reports, company accounts, annual returns and any other filed documents. SE requires unlimited distribution rights for its internal customers and requires reasonable distribution rights that allow credit reports and filed documents to be shared with external customers. SE does not have a requirement to share direct access to the company credit information database with its external customers.

2 International Company Credit Information

SE has the requirement to provide its internal & external customers with credit reports, company accounts, annual returns and any other filed documents. Scottish Enterprise requires full direct access to a global news database that can be used by Scottish Enterprise staff. Access is required to full current and archival articles. It is essential to have the ability to search for specific terms and subjects, within a certain time period and have the option to download more than one article at a time. Direct access to the database is also required for Scottish Enterprise staff. This may be either by password or by IP recognition. Scottish Enterprise requires both a news database that covers regional, national and international issues on a broad range of subjects. The database must also provide a news tracking and alerts service.

5 UK Consumer Markets

Renewal Options

There will be break points in the contract after each 12 month period, allowing for renewal for a further 12 month period with a maximum contract duration of 48 months.
