Description

Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a single supplier to carry out testing of electrical equipment – portable and fixed appliances. Blackpool Council wish to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous bid.

Renewal Options

It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 6th April 2022 to 31st March 2024, with the option to extend for a further 1 year plus a further 1 year (subject to contract review and budget availability).

Other Information

The supplier will also be expected to provide a service to a small number of properties managed by Blackpool Coastal Housing. Please note that the qualifications deemed satisfactory for engineers employed on this contract will be qualified electricians who hold C&G 18th Edition and also hold City and Guilds 2377-22 or equivalent.
