Description

Wyre Forest District Council on behalf of Kidderminster Town Council sought to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team to progress the Kidderminster Town Hall transformation project from RIBA Stage 2, in accordance with the RIBA plan of work stages.

Award Criteria
For all lots: Approach to working with listed buildings of a similar size and scale to Kidderminster Town Hall (500 words) 15%
For all lots: Demonstration of your appreciation of the issues likely to arise when restoring and adapting a listed building as a publicly accessible performance and events venue with similar characteristics to the scheme proposed for KTH, and how you would approach these issues on this contract. (500 words) 20%
For all lots: Amount and realism of resource relative to fee through the various RIBA stages of the project as evidenced by resource schedule (word limit n/a) 5%
For all lots: Approach to carbon reduction and identification of measures likely to be appropriate for KTH to minimise impact within the project funding constraints (300 words) 10%
Specific to lot 1: Proposals for co-ordinating the work of the design team including the integration of specialist design consultants and sub-contractors with a design responsibility (300 words) 5%
