The Authority has a requirement for the provision of Missile Defence Centre (MDC) office space and meeting room facilities and associated administration and project management support at Cody Technology Park, Farnborough, GU14 0LX for a 5 year period from 6th April 2022 until 5th April 2027.

Legal Justification

Defence Science Technology, part of the Ministry of Defence, intends to let a contract to QinetiQ Ltd for provision of Missile Defence Centre (MDC) facilities and associated office support. QinetiQ Ltd own the MDC offices situated at Cody Technology Park, Farnborough, GU14 0LX and therefore are the only supplier that are able to fulfil this requirement. It is considered that this contract can be placed using the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication of a contract notice for reasons of exclusive rights pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR) 2011.
