For reasons of Confidentiality, full Tender information will be made available only to those Bidders that are selected to proceed to the ITT Stage 2. We have been careful to provide sufficient details of the scope, minimum requirements and award criteria within the SQ via the Authority's eProcurement portal to enable the bidder to decide whether to participate in this process. THA is the landlord and owner of all properties within the programme. Together Housing is one of the country's largest social landlords, with 37,000+ homes across Yorkshire and Lancashire. Through its investment projects, Together Housing that manages its carbon reduction strategy and renewable energy investment. aims to achieve a 'Triple Bottom Line' by: 1. Helping to improve the affordability of its properties by reducing energy costs; 2. Securing a long-term return on investment or return of capital; and 3. Lowering the carbon impact of the business. This project will involve the installation of solar PV and battery systems on up to 1500 houses per annum on a 5 year rolling program of works across east Lancashire and Yorkshire. Installation will be on 2-3 bed houses selected between Together Housing and the contractor. The solar and battery system will be grid-connected via net metering agreements with the local electricity distribution network operator (DNO). Together Housing's Solar PV and battery pilot project of 250 domestic properties completed in the Colne and Nelson areas of Lancashire in 2019. Information about this previous project can be found through Together Net Zero's social media and website. THA will contract with one principle contractor for the delivery of the programme, they will provide a turnkey solution for installation of all equipment in this tender document. The conditions of contract, performance specification, warranty wording and pricing structure will be agreed within a baseline contract. The contractor shall quote for the supply, installation and commissioning of domestic installation of photovoltaic solar panels, Give Energy inverter and battery systems of up to 1200 properties across East Lancashire and Yorkshire. These will be split into: 1. Clustered programs of works with additional measures (ASHP, insulation etc) 2. Pepper potted properties by demand 3. Empty Homes/ Voids 4. In conjunction with re-roofing schemes The Solar PV installation shall include but is not limited to support structures, fixings, PV modules, inverters, batteries, control systems, circuit combiners, switchgear, metering equipment, beanbag customer controls and monitoring and cabling.
