Description

Your Housing Group, including its current and future subsidiaries, wishes to establish a framework agreement for a range of planned installation and refurbishments works. The contractors will be expected to complete the works to a high standard and work with Your Housing Group to achieve their social value and regeneration commitments.

Lot Division

1 Kitchen and Bathroom installations
  • Value: £28M

The scope of works includes kitchen and bathroom installation and renewals. This includes decorating, electrical, gas works and plumbing works associated with the installation.

2 Electrical Heating installation
  • Value: £6M

The scope of works includes electric heating installation and renewals. This includes electrical, plumbing and decorating works that are associated with the installation.

3 Window and Door installations
  • Value: £10M

The scope of works includes the installation of doors and windows to internal, external and communal areas. This also includes the installation of fire doors.

4 Roofing works
  • Value: £10M

The scope of works will include the completion of works relating to flat and pitch roofing. Work will include roof insulation at rafter and ceiling level and ancillary works including roofline drainage and installation of rainwater goods.

5 Communal Upgrade works
  • Value: £6M

The scope of work includes redecoration internally and externally, installation or renewal of communal flooring and installation or upgrade to communal and emergency lighting.

6 Paint and Pre-Paint repairs
  • Value: £8M

The scope of works will include the completion of painting and pre-paint repairs.

7 Fire Precaution works
  • Value: £20M

The scope of works will include the completion of fire precaution and prevention works which include the installation of fire doors, smoke seals, intumescent strips and fire signage.

8 Whole house refurbishment
  • Value: £20M

This lot is seeking to appoint Principal Contractors or Management Contractors that can undertake the works directly or through their supply chain. The scope of works will include kitchen installation, bathroom installation, heating installation, electrical installation, window and door installation, roofing works, brickwork, masonry and general building work. The works will be awarded on a project by project basis and may include large block refurbishments or a whole house approach to a specified amount of dwellings.

9 Environmental and Estate works
  • Value: £25M

The scope of work will include the completion of a range of external improvement works to include the creation, upgrade, repair and maintenance of play areas, car parks, paths, roads, fencing, gates, walls, porches, soft landscaping and other associated works.

10 Electrical installations
  • Value: £8M

The scope of works includes installation, renewal, upgrading, periodic inspection, servicing, testing and maintenance of electrical wiring to current (and revised as appropriate) British Standards.
