The work can be summarised as follows: Works will be to Fife Council owned Domestic & Non-Domestic properties. Preservation and rot treatment: Renewing infected timber. Removal of timber safe lintels and replacing with pre-stressed concrete lintels. Plasterwork. Inorganic preservative, chemical treatments. Ancillary Items: Work in connection with existing kitchen fitments, sanitary appliances, central heating appliances, gas fittings and electrical fittings. Legal Justification
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we are calling on SPPN 4/2020, clause 20 and Annex C: Modification of contracts governed by the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and in accordance with Regulation 72 (1) (c) Unforeseen Circumstances to extend this agreement for a further 6 months. This extension is required to relieve pressure on limited resources available whilst ensuring continuity of service. A tender for the next generation of the framework agreement is planned to be published in early Spring 2022.
