Description

Aberdeen City Council have requirements for collection, storage and redelivery of household belongings.

Total Quantity or Scope

Aberdeen City Council is legally obliged to provide assistance with the removal, transfer and storage of household belongings for people experiencing homelessness. There are a significant number of customers who require this service, sometimes for an unspecified amount of time. Under this framework agreement the Contractor shall provide short and long-term storage solutions. Aberdeen City Council require a single Contractor to uplift belongings within a property; all furniture items, white goods, fixture/fittings and any other household item (this list is not exhaustive) and deliver to/from properties, with capacity to conduct requests where specified within 48 hours of request. Additional information: This tender is a re-tender. Aberdeen City Council was not able to appoint a suitable tenderer when this required was originally advertised.
