Description

The Bank of England is looking to procure a partner/partners for the provision of Cash In Transit logistics services. The procurement will be split into two lots: Lot 1: CIT Logistics for Exemplar Genuine Notes, Counterfeit Test Packs and Other Small Ad hoc Security Items Lot 2: CIT Moves For each lot, the Bank proposes to enter into a contract with the successful Tenderer for a maximum period of three years, with the option to extend by two successive periods of one year each.

Lot Division

1 CIT Logistics for Exemplar Genuine Notes, Counterfeit Test Packs and Other Small Ad hoc Security Items

The Bank requires the successful Tenderer to handle the secure logistics of varying combinations of Notes from a Bank Location, and to securely deliver them to any of the Bank’s UK and global partner organisations and institutions and return the same to a Bank Location or Partner Organisation. Due to the sensitive information that is contained within the tender documents, a NDA is required prior to accessing this requirement. Tenderers are reminded to uphold the terms of this agreement throughout the tender process. Regulation 21 (3) from The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 applies.

2 CIT Moves

The Bank invites you to submit a Response for this CIT Moves procurement in respect of the secure transportation of BoE Banknotes between the three Bank Premises as well as to and from various third party cash centre locations using transport vehicles that comply with the Bank’s Requirements, as instructed by the Bank. Due to the sensitive information that is contained within the tender materials, a NDA is required prior to accessing this requirement. Tenderers are reminded to uphold the terms of this agreement throughout the tender process. Regulation 21 (3) from The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 applies.

Renewal Options

The option to extend by two successive periods of one year each.
