Description

The Hen Harrier Action Plan was published in 2016, and it sets out six complimentary actions to increase hen harrier populations in England. A copy of the Plan is available here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attac... Defra is seeking an expert/s to undertake an independent objective 'mid-term' review of the Plan. A review will consider the current effectiveness of the suite of complimentary actions within the Plan, and the extent to which these support the recovery of hen harrier populations. We envisage that the review will assess progress and efficacy across the Plan, and that any findings and recommendations may then inform future policy implementation around hen harrier conservation. Defra would welcome proposals from independent tenderers and consortia for this project.
