Hertfordshire Music Service, part of Hertfordshire County Council’s Children’s Services, is one of the largest music services in the country and lead partner in the Hertfordshire Music Education Hub.• For children it provides instrumental tuition, formal and informal activities ranging from youth orchestras, ensembles and choirs to rock bands. • For schools it provides a comprehensive programme of instrumental tuition, curriculum support and music projects, including First Access class tuition for primary schools, and Music Therapy. Specialist instrumental and vocal teachers deliver instrumental tuition through schools and Music Centres. • For families it provides family activities, lessons and events in all types of music for all ages, from the ‘family jams’ to play-scheme workshops and concerts.The estimated total value of the Framework Agreement is stated in II.1.5) of this notice and is for the initial term inclusive of the approximate value for extensions, together with the Individual Orders. For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated annual value of the Contract will be approximately 160,000 GBP. The Framework Agreement will be awarded for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend the Framework Agreement up to one (1) further year.
