Description

This Deep Excavation contract award is to support Northern Gas Networks (NGN) in delivering a large portfolio of operational projects & works orders.) NGN have requirements for qualified Personnel to be available to carry out the following disciplines: Services Provide & Install Temporary works for Excavation inc design & hire and back fill with excavated material and remove temporary works upon completion of NGN's works. Provide & Install Temporary works for Excavation inc design & hire and back fill with specified material, i.e.: Type 1 MOT and remove temporary works upon completion of NGN's works. Provide & Install Temporary works for Excavation inc design & hire and back-fill with concrete and remove temporary works upon completion of NGN's works.

Legal Justification

This is an operationally critical contract which had expired and due to Health & Safety reasons an interim contract of 10 months until November 2022 has been awarded to bridge the gap whilst an above threshold tender is being carried out. The PQQ for this event has been published on Achilles with a closing date of 16th March 2022
