Description
This ITT is to be issued as part of an open tender process to identify a provider for Surrey County’s Rehabilitation and Support Services for High Impact Complex Drinkers. Alcohol related risk, in all forms, places a significant challenge on a range of public services, including through emergency hospital admissions and re-admissions to crime and disorder. The purpose of this service is therefore to extensively support individuals who are considered to be in the HICD category, while leading them unto a path of rehabilitation to produce better outcomes for those individuals, their families and subsequently ease pressure on health services within the county.
Total Quantity or Scope
Surrey County Council and the OPCC are re-tendering for a new 3-year contract (plus an option to extend for a further 4 years). The existing contract ends 30th September 2022; therefore both organisations are seeking a provider to commence on 1st October 2022. Further details of the nature of services required will be available in the published Invitation to Tender documents, including a Specification. Commissioners are keen to offer bidders flexibility on how to deliver services to achieve the specified outcomes. Bids may be assessed on Quality (technical responses and presentation) and Price. Bidders are expected to demonstrate (but not limited to): - an up-to-date and excellent understanding of the HICD requirements within Surrey - evidence of effective measures and experience which can be applied within SCC - how bidder will effectively work with organisations linked to this provision in Surrey - presentation of innovative approaches to outreach, engagement, support and rehabilitation, and their expected outcomes If your organisation is not already registered on the e-tendering system (Proactis Supplier Network), you will need to do so before you can fully access the opportunity and tender documents: https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login
