Care Assistant Rate of Pay: £10.19 (PAYE) Hours: see advert below Location: Willow Gardens Extra Care Service, Harvest Road, Rowley Regis, B65 8FG Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: The service is generally focused on but not completely for people who have a dementia diagnoses. The main duties include supporting people to engage in meaningful activities Supporting people with occasional personal care Supporting people to keep safe due to their confusion Supporting people to mobilise to and from the dining room, toilet etc. To promote independence and dignity and to work well with existing day care staff members and managers to deliver a valued service You will require experience with working with Older people with a physical or mental health need. A good level of written and verbal communication. This role always requires up to date Medication and Infection control Training. This role requires an Enhanced Barring for Adults Check. This role falls inside of IR35. Working hours will be 4 on, 4 off, between 7.00am - 10.00pm which will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
