Description

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council would like to invite housing providers to submit applications to join its new contract for the provision of Specialist Supported Housing for people with a wide range of health and care needs. There is no limit to the number of providers who may join this Agreement - all suitable providers will be admitted. The Agreement may re-open for new members in the future. Members of the Agreement may offer accommodation to individuals with a range of different needs who will become tenants of the provider's property. Members will also have the opportunity to apply for capital funding to support the development of this accommodation. Any tenancy agreements made through this Agreement will remain in force beyond the duration of the Agreement itself as the accommodation provided is intended, in most cases, to be a long-term home for each tenant.

Total Quantity or Scope

Contracts will be awared to all those bidders who meet the selection and quality criteria provided within the tender documents. There is no limit to the number of providers who may join this Agreement - all suitable providers will be admitted. The Agreement may re-open for new members in the future. This will not affect those already awarded contracts. Suppliers awarded this contract will have the opportunity to be intoduced to potential tenants for their accommodation, access investment capital (a total fund of £200k is available but this may increase).

The contract by itself has no intrinsic monetary value. The main consideration is the introduction by the Council of tenants to accommodation made available to council to nominate individuals. The processes for making these introductions are detailed within the tender documents that will be made available on the NEPO/Proactis procurement portal. A bidder event will be held via Microsoft Teams at 12:30 on 13th April where you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Agreement and tender process.
