Description
This Strategic Partnership Agreement is a commitment between the Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) and Public Health Scotland (PHS) to work together to identify, plan and deliver shared aims to support and facilitate the application of community development approaches to realise the collective ambition to improve Scotland’s health and wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and create a Scotland where everyone thrives
Total Quantity or Scope
The Strategic Plan sets out a clear commitment to collaborative working in recognition that no one organisation or profession can address Scotland’s public health challenge. Public Health Scotland has a leadership role in, and contributes to, all of Scotland’s public health priorities. Public Health Scotland will focus on four areas; COVID-19 response, recovery and renewal; Mental health; Communities and place; and Poverty and children. The partnership agreement with SCDC is currently contributing to these key areas in a number of ways
