The Secondary Schools Consortium is the alias given to the 6 participating schools for sole purpose of conducting the procurement exercise and as such each school remains independent of one another. With all schools located in close proximity of each other it is the intention to appoint a single supplier to provide the cleaning services to the group.

The Secondary Schools Consortium is the alias given to the 6 participating schools for sole purpose of conducting the procurement exercise and as such each school remains independent of one another. With all schools located in close proximity of each other it is the intention to appoint a single supplier to provide the cleaning services to the group. However, each school reserves the right to select the supplier that provides the most economical and advantageous tender to its school. Participating Schools: William Morris Sixth Form St Dunstan’s Road Hammersmith W6 8RB Lady Margaret School Parsons Green Fulham SW6 4UN Fulham Cross Girls’ School Munster Road Fulham SW6 6BP The Hurlingham Academy Peterborough Road Fulham SW6 3ED Sacred Heart High School 212 Hammersmith Road Hammersmith W6 7DG Lambeth Academy Elms Rd Lambeth SW4 9ET Basis of Contract Over the initial 3-year contract period the turnover for the group of schools is estimated at £1,750,000. The Client is willing to extend the contract by mutual consent up to a maximum of 2 x 1-year periods Objectives The appointed Supplier will preferably be Corporate Members of BICSc and have significant experience of delivering quality cleaning services within school premises. The Supplier should have suitable expertise of successfully managing the TUPE process and if required be prepared to apply for ABS to administer the Local Government Pension Scheme for any transferring staff. It is important that the Supplier has a strong operational base in London with adequate local contract support and operational flexibility to ensure cleaning standards are consistently maintained to deliver sustained quality and ‘best value’ to each school.
