The Council requires a service for the collection, haulage and emptying of waste containers filled with residual/general waste and green waste from its Household Recycling Centres to Council nominated facilities/delivery points. The purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of the requirement in the future, as well as reduce the timeframes for tendering once this is live.

Estimated Annual Contract Value The estimated annual contract value is £228,643. 4. Place of Performance The Council has 3 sites at the following locations:- • Carryduff, 6 Comber Road, Carryduff, BT8 8AN • The Cutts, Derriaghy, BT17 9HN • Drumlough, Dromara Road, Hillsborough, BT26 6QA 5. Renewal Options

Anticipated contract start date will be 1 November 2022 for an initial period of one year with the option to extend by any period, or periods, up to a maximum of a further four years extension subject to review, satisfactory performance and continued need for the service. Dates are provisional and may be changed at the Council’s absolute discretion.
