Description

The contract for Arboricultural Services provides for: The maintenance of trees, large shrubs and hedges in parks, open spaces, playing areas, sports grounds, cemeteries, schools, housing estates including domestic gardens, highway verges and civic buildings, etc. The felling and removal of trees; Weed control near trees; The collection and removal of litter, refuse and abandoned waste in tree plantations or woodland areas; The planting and cultivation of trees and large shrubs; The pruning of trees, hedges and shrubs; Emergency tree work;

Total Quantity or Scope

The annual value is approx £425K. The contract duration will be 5 years with an option to extend of up to a further 24 months

Renewal Options

The Council is likely to have a future requirement to renew the contract on its completion.
