Description
Supply of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution. To service ~500 beds, ~45000 annual admissions, and support the clinical operations of ~3000 clinical and non-clinical staff. With the key focus type of services being Children’s and Gynaecological services. The EPR solution will need to also: • Align to the ICS, in particular the Health Information Exchange • Digital capture of data to ensure evaluation of clinical outcomes. • Integrate to a set of key clinical and non-clinical systems by meeting digital standard healthcare interoperability and integration (i.e. FHIR/HL7)
Total Quantity or Scope
1. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to the supply of an EPR to support BWCH in the delivery of the Children’s and Gynaecology services that the Trust provides. 2. BWCH is seeking to procure the services of a provider of a [hosted, fully managed] Electronic Patient Record solutions, to be developed and maintained by said provider. 3. BWCH are seeking a supplier to provide a range of [deployment/implementation services for the EPR and providing support and maintenance services] on a continuing basis. 4. It is expected that the maximum potential contract term will be 10 years but this is subject to confirmation. 5. There may be the opportunity through ICS partnerships that may arise from any future procurement activities for the to be convergence opportunities. 6. Potential suppliers are invited to attend a Supplier Briefing session on the 20th May 2022. This session will be a virtual session hosted via Zoom.
