Legal Justification
During the COVID pandemic a contract was awarded as an urgent requirement for the Hire of Marquees to provide a drive through COVID testing centre and staff havens to NHS staff. Due to winter pressures and continuity of Covid waves, it is necessary to ensure this facility remains. Due to the time it would take to dissemble and construct new marquees, it would negatively affect the testing service as well as staff receiving this service, it has been deemed necessary to award a new contract.
