Blackburn with Darwen CCG: Voluntary Ex-Ante Competition Notice Individual Placement & Support Service *Please note this is not a call for competition and not a contract opportunity. * NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) are working on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen CCG for Individual Placement services. The contract is awarded without prior publication on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen CCG The above-named CCG intends to direct award of a 12-month contract for Individual Placement & Support services to Blackpool Council, without a call for competition. This Contract Award Notice is published under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (‘Regulations’) as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations. Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authority is not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The contract was originally awarded during the COVID-19 pandemic and was extended until 31st March 2022 due to the establishment of the Lancashire & South Cumbria ICS. The start date for the commencement of the ICS as a legal entity was then extended to 1st July 2022. In order to ensure continuity of the service a decision was made to extend the service contract until 31st March 2023. Following publication of this notice on Thursday 7 April 2022, there will be a 10-day standstill period, concluding on Tuesday 19 April 2022. Following satisfactory conclusion of the standstill period, the CCG will enter into a contract with Blackpool Council for a period of 12 months.
