Description

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to tender for the grounds maintenance services framework, in North East (Rushmoor) Hants and Hart areas only. The services required cover horticultural maintenance and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities for a variety of clients ranging from Nursery Groups to Higher Education Colleges alongside a number of Hampshire County Council sections which have properties for various uses for example libraries, offices, registry offices, care homes for the elderly, fire stations, police premises and ambulance stations.

Total Quantity or Scope

Grounds maintenance services to be provided to non-educational premises and educational premises in North East Hampshire and Hart Educational premises requiring outdoor sports facilities maintenance and marking. The services are to include: - mowing and maintenance of grass areas, - maintenance of beds and borders, - maintenance of hedges, - maintenance and marking of sport facilities, - maintenance of jump pits, - application of herbicides, - removal of litter and leaves, - various minor works covered by day rates.

Other Information

A value of GBP 1,100,000 is the estimated potential value based on historical data, for the 27 months duration of the framework. The value of participation by the wider public sector cannot be calculated accurately or guaranteed but has nevertheless been incorporated within a range of GBP 780,000 to GBP 1,100,000 for the 27 month duration of the framework. Electronic invoicing will be accepted with prior agreement and electronic payment via BACS is preferred. Interested parties should register their interest in the framework via the InTend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire and complete and submit the tender return documents together with any supporting information requested, by no later than the closing date indicated as IV.2.2). How to obtain the tender documents: The tender documents can be accessed when logged into InTend by selecting 'View Details' on the relevant tender advert and clicking 'Express Interest' tab. Once in the tender there are five tabs: 'Tender', 'ITT -documents', 'Correspondence', 'Clarifications' and 'History'. Select the second tab (ITT - documents) where you will find useful information under 'Tender Details' continue to scroll down to the heading 'Tender Documents Received where you will be able to view/download the documents. Opting in and out: Please note you are required to 'Opt In' before you can access the 'My tender Return' to start populating your response. The 'Opt Out' functionality will also be available throughout the duration of the tender process. Opting out will give you the option to declaring you no longer want to receive any further communication in relation to this tender along with the opportunity of providing comments and feedback for this decision. You can choose to 'Opt In' at any time during the tender process if you initially decided to 'Opt Out'. You can apply for as many lots as you wish but can only be awarded a maximum of three lots if successful. The framework agreement will be available for use by the following participating public sector and local authority organisations in the area of NE Hants and Hart : - the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire/Hampshire Constabulary; - Hampshire and the Isle of Wight First and Rescue Authority/Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Services; - the Ambulance Service in Hampshire; - Local Authority Schools and Academies; - Unitary Authorities, District, Borough, Town and Parish Councils, and successor authorities across NE Hampshire and Hart; - Faith establishments including the Roman Catholic and Anglican Dioceses associated with the named Local Authorities including Guildford Anglican, Salisbury Anglican, Winchester Anglican and Portsmouth Anglican and Portsmouth Roman Catholic diocesan authorities; - NHS within the area stated.
