Description

Lancashire Renewables Limited is a company owned wholly by Lancashire County Council. Both of the company's sites are involved in the sorting & processing of household waste, along with its subsequent transfer into the "off take" market. Lancashire Renewables Ltd has an ongoing requirement for the provision of stack emission testing services at its two sites located at the following addresses: Farington Waste Recovery Park Sustainability Way Leyland Lancashire PR26 6TB and Thornton Waste Recovery Park Fleetwood Road North Thornton Cleveleys FY7 8RY The scope of the testing concerns the OGM bio-filters, specifically the testing of bioaerosols emitted from the stacks as a by-product of waste processing activities. The testing criteria considers the total bacteria, fungi, and ambient levels emitted in accordance with the Environment Agency's Technical Guidance M9. Testing is typically carried out on a three-monthly basis although there may be a requirement for some ad-hoc testing.
